About the WorkshopADMISSION: Admission to the workshop is free, but reservations MUST be made in advance, due to limited seating. Nobody will be admitted by walk-ins. To reserve a ticket, fill out this very brief form. PREPARATIONS: A week or so before the workshop, you will be contacted to fill out an online questionnaire. If you do not fill out the online form, you will need to fill out a paper copy during processing before the workshop. The online version will help speed up the processing period and will allow for greater efficiency the night of the show. Data from these questionnaires will influence the outcome of the evening. Also, for the night of the workshop, please wear comfortable clothing, as you may not remain in one place. WHAT IS THIS? This workshop is in partial fulfillment of an honors distinction research project. The goal of the research is to investigate how theatre can be used as a tool to actively engage a community to promote dialogue and a common understanding of local issues. WHERE IS THIS? The workshop will be held on May 21 in the Roy Bowen Theatre at the Drake Performance and Events Center on the main campus of Ohio State University. The performance will begin promptly at 8:00, but you are encouraged to arrive early, as a pre-show processing will begin at 7:30. There will be NO LATE SEATING due to the nature of the performance. SPONSORS: Generous support for this workshop has been provided by the Department of Theatre, the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design, the Kuhn Honors and Scholars Center, the College of the Arts and the Undergraduate Student Government at the Ohio State University. |
