
Dr. Katie Whitlockwhitlock.22@osu.edu Katie Whitlock is a professor in the Department of Theatre as the Theatre 100 coordinator. Her interest in technology stems from her work in sound design for theatre as well as her research interests. Katie's work in theatre has included numerous sound designs, several directing credits and even a performance or two. She has a BFA in Stage and Arts Management from the University of Arizona, an MFA in Theatre Design from the University of Memphis, and a PhD from the Ohio State University in Theatre Studies. Her work with ACCAD has been centered around the creation of a virtual model of the Roy Bown Theatre that will be used as a teaching tool for introductory and advanced students. In the spring of 2003, Katie was the Director of Technology and Live Integration for the innovative Department of Theatre production of Adrienne and Adam Kennedy's Sleep Deprivation Chamber. |
